Ciro Albuquerque

Ciro has in-depth experience handling appeals filed before the high courts in Brasília. Ciro is the leader of the Brasília office and for many years has been responsible for handling strategic arguments within both the Superior Courts and the federal courts in Brasília and Rio de Janeiro. Ciro also has experience handling complex opinions and investigations at the DoJ/AO. In addition to his vast practice centered on complex disputes, directly focused on groundbreaking cases of infringement and patent invalidity, Ciro also has extensive experience in regulatory matters and administrative proceedings before public bodies and also in corporate investigations. He is a member of Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro Bars.

Education

Ciro has a post-grad degree in Intellectual Property from PUC-RJ (2015) and sits as the Vice-Chairman of the Regulatory Affairs Commission and Secretary-General of the Intellectual Property Commission, both of the Federal District Bar chapter.
